Sierra Activism 101

A special one-day workshop to be held in conjunction with the Sierra Club’s Annual Chapter Retreat at Camp Miniwanca Saturday, August 26th, 2006.

Would you like to become more active in protecting the environment – either at the state level, or at home in your own community? Learn how to take action! The Sierra Club’s Legislative Committee is offering a special, one-day training workshop as part of this summer’s Annual Chapter Retreat.

The Retreat itself is rejuvenating and inspirational, allowing plenty of opportunities to relax, hike, learn new skills and get to know other Sierra Club members. Sierra Activism 101 is a new component to the Retreat, providing the tools you need to take action on environmental issues when you get back home.
